OPT IN: Charlie Sheen’s Violent Torpedo of Truth: Defeat is Not an Option

Booed off stage on Saturday in Detroit to standing ovations on Sunday in Chicago, Charlie Sheen’s Violent Torpedo of Truth: Defeat is Not an Option had Chicago screaming “Detroit sucks. Detroit sucks,” and is back on track.

According to a CNN News report, the Chicago Theater event on Sunday was nothing like Saturday in Detroit. There was no nonsensical rambling. Instead, Violent Torpedo of Truth was transformed into a 90-minute talk show of pre-planned questions covering a wide range of topics including Charlie Sheen’s departure from Two and a Half Men, his marriages, call girls and even why he pays for sex. Sheen’s response: “I have millions to blow, and I ran out of stuff to buy.”

OPT OUT – Violent Torpedo of Truth: Defeat is Not an Option…Although Tickets Are Still Available!

Fans Saturday night at the opening of Charlie Sheen’s Violent Torpedo of Truth: Defeat is Not an Option in Detroit opted out of the show and some reportedly left after just 15 minutes. Many of those that remained booed the actor off the stage that after an hour ended when Sheen never returned from a musical break according to a BBC News report.

Charlie Sheen, 45 and fired from the hit-show Two and a Half Men last month, opened Violent Torpedo of Truth show in Detroit Saturday night as the beginning of a tour of 22 shows, 20 of which are in the U.S. and Canada, according to BBC News, and if Saturday night in Detroit was any indication of the level of success Sheen is going to experience from the show, perhaps Charlie Sheen may experience reality after all.

CNN reports that Ticketmaster lists on its website 19 shows in 18 U.S. cities with 3 shows in Canada, corroborating the total number of shows listed the BBC News report….

Charlie Sheen to March Up The Steps of Justice

charlie sheenCharlie Sheen recently has been in every entertainment rag, ranting and raving on anything and everything.  Today, for example, Charlie Sheen is on PerezHilton.com touting his horn about his new tattoo, wherein he states:

“It’s the banner from the death card that Kilgore [the Robert Duvall character] is throwing on his victims. But also falling from it is the apple from [poet Shel Silverstein‘s] ‘The Giving Tree.’ There’s my life. Deal with it. I’m not just my dad. I’m putting up the river to kill another part of me, which is Kurtz. I’m every character in between, save for that little weirdo with his guts strapped in, begging for water. That’s not me. But there are parts of me that are Dennis Hopper. ‘You have the right to kill me, but you do not have the right to judge me.’ Boom. That’s the whole movie. That’s life.”

Additionally, in an open letter to TMZ.com, Charlie Sheen when discussing the cancellation of Two and a Half Men states:

Sheen Letter to TMZ

Charlie Sheen in his letter to TMZ clearly calls out to his beautiful and loyal fans to walk with him side-by-side as they will march up the steps of justice to right the unconscionable wrong.  It is unfortunate that almost all of the comments left by readers of entertainment news regarding Charlie Sheen ranges from:

Charlie: You are a total nut case. Seek help.

and

This guy is friggin’ nuts.  Go away Charlie – please.

and

The letter is clearly indicative of someone whose drug addiction has seriously affected the way in which he interacts with the world around him. A recent comment uses the word “delusional,” and I think this is much deeper than delusional. On a moderate scale, I would think that Charlie’s letter could be the product of a bipolar mania episode, or could be warning signs of schizophrenia. Whether drug addiction or mental illness, it is obvious that Charlie Sheen is a very sick man and I just pray that he gets better.

The many negative comments from around cyberspace is most likely explained in Charlie Sheen’s interview with TMZ entitled Charlie Sheen Spills His Guts on TMZ.   An anti-drug commercial once used a raw egg thrown into a hot oil fry pan wherein the egg begins to sizzle in an effort educate people how the brain reacts on drugs… “This is your brain on drugs… Got it?”   Now that Charlie has been interviewed by TMZ, a copy of his interview tape can be used instead of the frying egg giving people a real-life accounting as to what happens to the brain while on drugs.
