Desperate Housewife and Basketball Player End In Interstate Divorce

Eva Longoria co-star of Desperate Housewives and San Antonio Spurs’ Point Guard Tony Parkerhave both decided to end the seven-year relationship and three-year marriage. Eva filed for dissolution of marriage on Wednesday in the Los Angeles Superior Court based upon irreconcilable differences while soon to be ex-husband Tony Parker filed in Bexar County, Texas two days later based on discord or conflict of personalities. Apparently, Tony had cheated on Eva with Erin Barry, the wife of Tony Parker’s former teammate, although Eva merely alleges that Tony exchanged hundreds of emails with Ms. Barry.

According to their source, Charlotte Triggs and Mike Fleeman at People report that Tony wants to resolve the dissolution amicably and only filed his complaint in Bexar County, Texas as a matter of procedure as it was not intended to make matters worse. Similarly, it is reported that Eva also wishes to work this out together with Tony as made evident by the messages she posted to her Twitter account upon announcement of her divorce that her and Tony “love each other deeply and pray for each other’s happiness.”

As the legal battle commences, both Eva and Tony are reported to have sought consolation in their careers, Tony scoring 24 points Friday night to take the Spurs to triumph in Salt Lake City and Eva on the studio set with her close friends.
