Dodger Stadium Storage Shed Catches Fire Again

The Dodger Stadium storage shed that caught fire Saturday night during a baseball game, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department, caught fire again early Monday morning. This last fire was reported at 5 a.m. and was put out within fifteen minutes. Los Angeles fire spokesman Erik Scott said the fire appeared to be rekindled from the Saturday night fire.

“This appears to be a small smoldering fire from the previous fire,” he said. “There is no indication this was a separate fire.”

On Saturday night, it took firefighters about 20 minutes and 41 firefighters to put out a fire involving paper products in the same storage room at the stadium. The Saturday night fire occurred while the Dodgers were playing the Florida Marlins.

Tonight, the Dodgers play the Colorado Rockies.
