The well-known expression "the Third Time’s a Charm" here in the United States may not hold true Thursday for a 73-year old Angeleno. A 73-year old male whose name is being withheld by authorities was involved in an accident in a cross-walk when a Route 217 Metro MTA bus with no passengers aboard was turning right from Apple Street and onto Washington Boulevard in the downtown area of Los Angeles near the Interstate 10 freeway, said Metro spokesman Luis Inzunza. Inzunza went on to say that while making this turn, the Route 217 Metro bus hit the 73-year old.
